As part of the Food for Thought programme, Room 6 was allocated $60 to spend at 4 Square.  The groups of children had to plan their meal within a $10 budget.  Check out their personal blogs for more detailed photos.

Bike Safety Week

Some of the experienced cyclists volunteered to run the circuits for the bike safety practicals. They used their experience and skills from some of their previous courses to plan and deliver lessons for the rest of the senior syndicate.

Bike Safety Course

Room 6 children successfully completed the Grade 1 Bike Safety course on Tuesday.  There are some outstandingly confident and knowledge cyclists in the class who impressed the Sport HB organisers.

The children learned skills, played games to practise those skills and then put them into action on the road course at HB Sports Park.

Year 6 children will be assisting staff in designing and running the Bike Safety programme for the younger children at school.
