It was another successful year for the Room 6 children at this mornings Hawke's Bay Triathlon Champs.

Optimist Yachting
Room 6 had a perfect day for learning to sail yesterday. A gentle westerly gave the children the opportunity to build confidence and skills early in the day. During the afternoon, the sea breeze gave the more adventurous the opportunity to test their technique.

CHB Primary School Cycling Medallists
Katelyn finished in 2nd place in 9-10 year old girls and Chloe finished in 2nd place in the 11-13 year old girls in the 4 round series.
Food for Thought
As part of the Food for Thought programme, Room 6 was allocated $60 to spend at 4 Square. The groups of children had to plan their meal within a $10 budget. Check out their personal blogs for more detailed photos.

4 Square Visit
Room 6 children visit 4 Square this morning to put their lessons about reading and understanding food labeling into practise. They have also prepared a healthy lunch with a limited budget.

Bike Safety Week
Some of the experienced cyclists volunteered to run the circuits for the bike safety practicals. They used their experience and skills from some of their previous courses to plan and deliver lessons for the rest of the senior syndicate.
